Koh Samed, not Koh Samui/

From Bangkok, Ekkamai bus terminal, took the bus to Koh Samed, estimated arrival time around 3.5 hours, 3.5 hours my ass, more like 5.5 hours, I've got the worst back pain ever on the bus. This is one of the experience you will only have once, second time you do it, it's not anymore funny.
Especially if there a German girl (no offense to Germans) on the bus talking on the phone for 4 hours straight, careless of the people trying to take a rest on the bus, with her big bold voice. Her phone has the best battery power and connection.

Anyways, this is the first time to Koh Samed. It was good, it was good.

This is a place where if you google "koh samed", you will have a guide to the famous local bar/restaurant - PLOY bar and RESTAURANT. They've got fire shows at night, how lucky we were to catch the full moon party that month, this is the happiness from the unexpected!

I think the local kids here, their dream is to become a fire dancer. So innocent and cute.

And this is the local police training gym, very local, very useful, police very nice. I don't know what happens when there is a flood.

Well, and this is local services here.

And um, the bikini dress code here.

The mainland chinese refugee camp.

My British duck on Thailand soil.

A temple worshiping cocks, Bangcock style.

And always my favorite in Thailand, the dogs.

It was really worth it, despite the fact I had to take the same bus back because I had no choice and another back pain like hell. But the food...the people...the dog...the weird tourists...the locals....I love it.

Quite peaceful, quite boring, quite beautiful, not quite convenient, no MRT, lots of scooters, lots of lesbians, food is everywhere, food is good and local, 90% of them speaks Taiwanese, tea shops everywhere, food is sweeter, papaya milk is so good and cheap.

Nice nature sides, still lots of tourists, still people thinking I'm a foreigner. Still people trying to rip me off.

Nice and kind Taiwanese, less selfish. No one cares about the traffic rules, if you park on the street for 20 minutes, the police won't come and give you a ticket. Quite a nice escape...

Well, for someone who lives in Taipei city.

Thank you Tainan.

Bangkok (Bangcock), encounter. /

Following the last blog I wrote about my trip to Bangkok, I went to Thailand again, and I have something more I want to say about this amazingly wild and weirdly peaceful place. And thank god I'm finally willing to spend time sitting in front of the computer and writing this.

This time I not only went to Bangkok, although there's always so much to discover just in BKK. I went to "Ayutthaya" and "Koh Samed" for the first time in my life.(no, not Koh Samui, it's Koh Samed or Samet)

So this one is about my lovely Bangkok, what are my discovery this time? As I said last time, there's always so much to discover in Bangkok. This time I believe I went deeper (or so I think) well, at least I stopped shopping and getting less cheated by people.

"The Corruption"

They finally notice they are corrupted.  Well, it's a good start from taxis and tuk tuk...

EXPERIENCE this time: As we were approaching the train station to buy a ticket to Ayutthaya, there were many people with ID badges on their neck saying "FREE INFORMATION". Free my ass, never listen to them, and don't even look curious(I know), just directly to the ticket booth, anything out of their mouth is "TOUR" price. That's Bangkok, bitches.
BUT!!!: There was a tuk tuk driver outside the train station, who I can never forget, I thought at first he was going to cheat again, but instead he only offered 20 baht to go around the place. No, I didn't heard wrong, and he was helpful. That's also Bangkok, bitches.

"The Monks"
和尚

Monks in Thailand are equal to the above, children, pregnant women, the old, they are priority. And the disable can just be disabled.

And monks have seats everywhere.

Monks have seats on boat.

I remember the first time I went to Bangkok, we had a tour guide explaining us about the monks.↓

First time in Thailand, so fresh.
The Buddhist Monks can't touch money and are prohibited from associating with women. To the extent, women are not even allowed to hand a monk an offering. They must place it at his feet or hand it to a man to give to them.
Which also means we were not allowed to touch them. That's what the tour guide said. So we could only photo touch them. (?)

"The Hard Working People"

Very hardworking.

This one I'm not ironic, they are very very very hard working.

Last picture is my favorite. The hotel staff was asking nicely the foreigner with the bathrobe to please move inside the hotel and enter the room with his two prostitute.

"The Bus With All Indians"

This is no discovery, I just saw a bus with all Indians and it was quite interesting. No offense.

Really, no offense.

Let's continue the other two chapters later, I've got a lower back pain already.
